Elebia @ the Offshore Mediterranean Conference 2017

elebia was present at the OMC Offshore Mediterranean Conference held in Ravenna, in partnership with Elevia (yes, with V of victory), an Italian company based in Milano, focussing on high quality technical accessories and solutions for lifting. During three days, over 18.000 attendees (an increase of 31% compared to 2013) from 33 countries worldwide, attended the show to see and learn fist hand about the latest developments in the Oil and Gas Industry, and amongst them, our automatic hooks in their different ATEX and/or DNV versions.

A lot of interest was generated for our automatic remote controlled hooks and both Elevia staff (through its sales manager Marco Pozzi and technical sales expert Fabrizio Casciani) and elebia sales representatives answered all the technical questions that arised and did the best to demonstrate to all those participants that showed up at the stand the potential of the elebia automatic hooks. The Oil and Gas sector, still in a deep crisis in turnover compared to pre-crisis years, is permanently looking for new solutions to increase safety in all operations as well as trying to increase productivity. These were the main arguments which convinced our audience about the suitability of working with elebia automatic hooks in their operations. Back at home, it is now time to follow up with the interesting leads and new opportunities and possible collaborations generated from the show.
