evo2 Automatic Crane Hook

The evo2 is an automatic crane hook which, like the rest of the range of our lifting hooks for cranes, hooks on and releases the load remotely, increasing safety, productivity and comfort of all cargo lifting operations. The Working Load Limit (WLL) of the evo2 safety hook is 2,500kgs or 5,500lbs. Just like the rest of our bigger automatic hooks, the evo2 is designed under a fail-safe principle that makes it impossible to drop a suspended load. Due to its geometry and its motor, the safety hook will never drop the load if it’s not placed correctly on a horizontal surface

Increasing safety is the aim while keeping the operators away from the cargo when the automatic release is executed. Since manpower is drastically reduced, there are direct savings in labour, as well as an important increase in productivity which is estimated at 25%.

In different simulations carried out at RTC’s facilities, 8 elebia evo2 automatic hooks released 8 ropes/slings in less than 5 seconds with no need for human intervention whereas the exact same process took around 20 seconds more when performed manually by 2 operators.
