CIS Co., New Distributor for the Americas

In 1970, Contractors and Industrial Supply Co., Inc. was formed with an entrepreneurial spirit by Hank and Mary Schiller.

CIS provide not only the highest quality, but also the safest electrode handling equipment available for the use with electric arc furnaces. This equipment includes graphite lift plugs, metal lift plugs, torque wrenches, pneumatic torquing devices, as well as a variety of other specialty electrode equipment; such as rising stem lifting devices, wishbone spacers, cushioned lifting devices and many others.

CIS sells electrode handling equipment worldwide, and are always striving to improve upon and develop new equipment while working in conjunction with the end users at steel mills in the United States and abroad.
